"The best revenge is to not be like your enemy." When you stop behaving like your enemy, you take away the power they have over you and weaken their influence. Since we are all part of the same larger whole, by choosing not to mirror their negative behavior, you essentially remove that negativity from this shared existence. In doing so, you help purify the larger organism we are all part of, making both yourself and the collective better.

According to Charles Taylor https://go.hwmans.com/charlestaylor Every action and choice we make is a reflection of our intrinsic need to express our true selves to others. The clothes we wear, the music we listen to, and the cars we prefer are manifestations of our desire to project our identity outward. We seek validation and recognition from the community, hoping that this external recognition helps us understand and define our own identities. It is through the dialogical process with our community that we come to know ourselves and, consequently, find purpose.

Maybe self expression, to tell others who we are inside, is one of our most important (and hidden) needs and purposes.

All your deeper worries have already been answered by one philosopher or another. F.e. Seneca said it before anyone else on the interwebs : "True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future." What is it that is stopping us from reading that and more, directly from Senecas works?

Currently reading this to understand how to implement a simple feature voting mechanism between tiered participants on our app: https://mirror.xyz/peth.eth/FJ4__97OMHLmRQgNzTlXcQCcMVoSdvsuJ5rnxKcXZXA There are so many features to add, asking the users seems like a great way to prioritize.
