Run for the exit. If the music industry is any example, there will be no room upwards and plenty of it downwards/sideways that we’ll be occupied by the mainstream. The next generation won’t even know there was such a thing as indie developers

I wouldn‘t say I‘m coming from a scarcity mindset. As I said in the post, I‘m just wondering if knowing how to play the strategies has now become more valuable or if they cease to be valuable assets, in which, I think it‘d make sense to grow into new ones.

depends : are you coming at this from a scarcity (finite) or positive sum (growth) perspective

Good question. I think the outcome comes down to licensing, ie will there be a Monsanto-seed-like effect of using their tech
