Itβs feasible to ship Kiwi as a Farcaster mini app now and it would help our distribution. That said, can anyone formulate a clear value prop here? Why would you need an extra news feed in a news feed app? What else could there be?

My own attempt: The FC algo feed has become way less about crypto so having a dedicated crypto feed could be really interesting

fc is not a news feed app... unless you maniacally curate your feed, it's barely news i've visited kiwi news ~5 times, BUT i would probably like seeing 1-2 notifications a day about curated crypto content π€·ββοΈ

Anything with value makes sense as a mini app if you believe there are users to acquire here. What's the value prop for your news feed in general? Then the value prop for the mini app version is "____ one tap away and with potential to be tailored based on your identity"

1. NOTIFICATIONS right where the people are. this would make me open kiwi more 2. direct access to user funds to tip interesting links? or get donations? 3. paragraph style integration where comments that mention each kiwi link on farcaster get displayed on kiwi. could be a nice funnel

Warpcast is a shell akin to discord Itβs one large silo. Like the stairs that shift in Harry Potter. Mini apps open up wormholes that let you peak into outside worlds without leaving. Tbf. I donβt consider Warpcast a news feed. More a discussion board at best. Problem when everything is a reward. Is any of it authentic.

1. the audience. most of us get rewards and like to spend them somewhere 2. niche news feed imo. farcaster is a place for farcaster news and a social feed of ppl in crypto. kiwi news seems to be tech+privacy focused if I'm not mistaken 3. need to know what's different about kiwi, who are the writers, why do tweets link to nitter. ppl like info, what you think might be boring could be really interesting to the crypto curious here
