The /politics team has noticed an increase in spam posts in our channel recently. We want to ensure that our space remains a place for rational debates and discussions, but we also understand the concern with potentially limiting free speech, prioritizing voices that we align with, or making the channel biased. We value your input and would like to know your thoughts on whether we should appoint moderators to help manage this channel. https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/5559

As long as the rules are transparent and applied equally I don’t see an issue with moderation :)

Right now, we are leaning towards filtering out any posts that use the phrases "Check your $DEGEN points", "claim tokens", and "airdrop".

This is a very smart addition. Simple spam filtration options. I wonder is there a way for @automod to allow channel members to audit rules that have been applied to a channel? Sort of a transparency mode. Would be a nice feature for future

That would be preferred. I hate that it’ll show we are moderating without the full transparency. Feels really important for this channel in particular.
