Also check out Libro.fm They have a similar audiobook to Audible but you get to choose a local participating bookstore to support. Plus all the books you own you get to keep, DRM-free

At $18.99 CAD it’s $4.05 CAD more than Audible Canada but $1.10 USD less than Audible US because both versions of Amazon’s offering are $14.95 in their respective regional currency. Here’s some more info about the plans including a promo code

Also, if you’re price conscious and want an alternative to Audible, I recommend Libby. It lets you connect a local library account and you can borrow audiobooks, ebooks, and (e)magazines for free libbyapp.com
