Working on a paper for metaphysics on material composition and my own answer to the question posed in the assigned paper topic is, "If every potential answer to the question leads to absurdity, perhaps it's the question itself that is absurd." Now I just have to fluff that up into 2000 words by midnight.

Every time I post on Threads, I end up with a shitstorm of a comments section and my block list grows by a mile. Of course, my follower count grows, too, cuz I get WAY more likes than I get people arguing. It's just the reactionary twats are the loudest.

It's really siloed, a lot like Facebook. But there's a LOT of leftist/liberal infighting. A LOT. It's nuts. Lot of "callouts" and shit. Not so much influencers as people trying to build an audience and using Threads easier reach to do that - monetization is limited so it's not yet full of influencers.

Yesterday, it was 70 degrees and we had a storm that had 90 degree winds. Today, it's in the low 40s and I've got a fire going in the woodstove again. The joys of spring in Michigan.

Today is another paper writing day. This time, on "free will" for metaphysics. One of the particularly irksome things about this class is that the professor assigns the readings and you're not allowed to use other sources for your arguments, and I have two decades of studying philosophy independently that I have to basically ignore while writing papers.
