man, nothing has destroyed me this year like this meniscus tear 

chronic illness, a life threatening condition, a breakup, and a death in the family

and none of them have gutted me like this

i'd rather kill the radio and listen to the rain hit.

What are your restrictions?  If you need any tips for one-legging it, I did it for 10 weeks this year after a tibial plateau fracture that also included a meniscus tear.

I was in a fat brace for a few weeks and OMG I hated it.  Do you have to wear it to bed?  That really sucked when I had to do that.  I'm a side sleeper, so being forced to sleep on my back was rough.

Injuries suck.  Change our life in unexpected ways.  But that's a chance to learn something new about ourselves, and it will get better. <3

im not quite one-legged (just a fat brace for now), but a very large part of my identity has been rooted in outdoor activities (biking, climbing, hiking, dog stuff, etc)
