That you have to believe in it for it to work.  I don't even actually "believe" in it per se, I just started playing with it and seeing what happened, made up a deity to see what happened, and then thing got weird.  Magic is a lot of "act as if" and when you do that enough, the Universe starts to believe you.

Unironically, this is also how startups work

You have to deeply believe in the new reality you’re building, act as if it’s inevitable, and eventually “the Universe starts to believe you”

Just make sure your deity is not AGI though 🤣
