Why hasn’t the use of NFTs for event tickets caught on? Seems like a no brainer? I haven’t looked into it that much

Surprised by this as well. POAP is great, but organizing prior to an event via onchain credentials feels like a no brainer.

POAP is great, but from what I understand it doesn't address the Events industry most pressing need when it comes to tickets - distribution 

I think the the short answer is no one has built a distribution platform on blockchain rails yet; but they're trying -
