What will it take for voting with DIDs to become mainstream? https://x.com/iohk_charles/status/1744511505721073885

What do you mean? Are you implying there’s no utility or use cases for DIDs?

cb.id issued over 4M subnames through ENS dapp. And will probably do the same at some point for their Base chain with .base.eth Decentraland did the same with dcl.eth for their game users Decentralized no-code website builders are using them to add content hash record for website + .limo to resolve in browsers Etc.

oh, i see that you're counting ENS names and other forms of portable identity as DIDs instead of the W3C DID spec, which ENS does not adhere to. i'm talking about disco.xyz, spruce.id, and Gitcoin Passport. the fact that you've conflated the two proves my point that nobody uses real DIDs.
