AMA with @colin starts now! Colin went to Waterloo and worked on a variety of projects there - most notably he was CTO of Yelplive & founder of BitIndy. He then worked on the payments team at Coinbase and moved over to Google where was was an eng manager for ~4 years. Now Colin is building @paragraph full time!

how do you hire great people to build in web3? especially when so many great builders may not have heard about or have a good vision for the industry?

This is maybe contrarian thinking, but I don't think you need to hire web3-experienced people for many roles. At least at @paragraph I'm very much approaching the company as a web2 company that uses web3 primitives, versus full web3-native, and thus we're 98% built on regular non-web3 backend/frontend

i totally agree with that -- just wondering what the pitch is, what has worked better vs not? How much of the hook is about the future vision for why web3 primitives even matter vs. the specific business potential for @paragraph vs. other things?
