AMA with @colin starts now! Colin went to Waterloo and worked on a variety of projects there - most notably he was CTO of Yelplive & founder of BitIndy. He then worked on the payments team at Coinbase and moved over to Google where was was an eng manager for ~4 years. Now Colin is building @paragraph full time!

how do you hire great people to build in web3? especially when so many great builders may not have heard about or have a good vision for the industry?

This is maybe contrarian thinking, but I don't think you need to hire web3-experienced people for many roles. At least at @paragraph I'm very much approaching the company as a web2 company that uses web3 primitives, versus full web3-native, and thus we're 98% built on regular non-web3 backend/frontend
