2. Not the same. We've semi learned that tokenization doesn't help decentralization but can help reduce transaction costs as long as the oracle is trusted. That's what tokenized RWA are about, lowering friction on financial ledgers via trusted 3rd parties. Far cry from original crypto ethos but still valuable.

Easy classic example is Circle. I’ve been working on a protocol that does this for music royalties, still in the works. It’s tough to find a party one trusts in web3, no Lindy and it’s too easy to make a mistake, so I wouldn’t be surprised for tradFi companies to do this - JPM backed assets. 🤷‍♂️
