Unironically a good skill to have, sewing machine or not. I can sew most of my stuff thats broken myself and my fiancee can fix almost everything I think. But my fiancee has a sewing machine and I'm pretty sure she'd recommend it

The only downside is you'll be stuck with a heavy ass sewing machine for the rest of your life and now i have two. (the embroidery mechanism on the other one is broken and I need to go get it fixed... it's been two years). it's such a necessary unnecessary item 😂
