tbh much of the "creator economy" today is a pyramid scheme that's max value extraction most creator platforms are just e-commerce platforms where "creator" is selling you some course hard for me to believe anybody who is actually making $25k a month is desperate enough to charge to teach others how to do it

That’s why I’m so bullish on what crypto will do for the QUALITY of content The ads thing is going too far though. There are doctors on IG explaining symptoms for conditions and get sponsored by pharmaceutical companies to promote medications in return this is literally against ‘first, do no harm’

Self-help propaganda dressed in creator cosplay. The desperation to monetize 'success' is always suspect... the course is rarely the product. Tapping collective insecurity, shame becomes a renewable resource.

It's a great boom of creativity. We never had tools to make money just by explaining what you do or did to make ten bucks. I think pendulum on this one will swing back to personal and small group experiences that may include learning or just doing thigns together. What you called "underproduction of lived experiences" is imho coming because the rest will be totally available for asking

General rule of thumb is if there's someone selling a course and their Instagram isn't: - mysterious travel posts - yachting - pictures of luxury dog breeds Their advice isn't worth anything and the course isn't worth it.
