I can’t believe Francis Ford Coppola sold part of his winery to SELF FUND $120m into Megalopolis and I can’t believe I just spent two hours that I’ll never get back watching it i’m confused???

lmao I just saw Megalopolis last night and it is a confusing trip to say the least I will say that I admire his dedication to the film and so many parts of it were certainly unorthodox(for better or worse, but imo that part of it was refreshing) also I thought it was a great performance from Adam Driver

Pretty sure he done the same with Apocalypse Now and it worked out great. Watch Hearts of Darkness documentary (mostly recorded by his wife during filming) if you want to see behind the scenes, it was a disaster but the movie turned out well

I was afraid that would happen. There’s a reason no one wanted to finance that movie. It’s either very very good and beyond its time (Fight Club) or very very bad, period. I was hoping for the former, seems it was the later.
