1. More research done by the hosts to craft better questions that would surface something new. Eliezer gave us exactly what we would expect from him; repeatedly asking “why can’t we make a good AI” felt lazy; what about crypto?!

2. Somewhat irresponsible to use him as the entry point to AI for the bankless audie

Totally agree. I actually was hoping, based on the preface, that E would have something more to say than what waitbutwhy covered in 2015 blog posts about AGI. It wasn’t original, they weren’t probing, and I didn’t learn any new frameworks to think about it.

not at all. I started listening to it last week & stopped because as much as I love David & Ryan, they were out of their depths for this one.

Stopped listening to them. Would pick up again, but just haven't seen anything interesting or gotten recommended an episode in a while.
