wtf are we even doing in this industry if one of the largest film/music festivals in the world would rather invite a bitter skeptic than a well-intentioned representative

figuring out my next thing | marketing, content, growth | prev. Juicebox, Nouns, RAW DAO | casting about coffee, hi-fi, and other rabbit holes

The people we need for crypto are not going to SXSW 

The only thing that should matter is grabbing everyday Internet users attention - the real way things scale

The artist and creatives attending SXSW are already plugged into the old world with little incentive to change 

The film industry, meanwhile, has fired/let go of thousands of insanely talented creatives and artists that are lamenting about it across Twitter & Reddit - people with chips on their shoulders ready to try something new

not sure. I think we need musicians, filmmakers, creatives of all types for the industry to flourish. many of those folks go to music/film festivals like SXSW.

but yes agreed that an internet native approach is likely the best fit
