For me, this was the most exciting part of the community call today: Opening up fan tokens to be bought, sold, transferred, and created outside of Farcaster (this still has to be voted on, but I'd be extremely surprised if it doesn't pass) Fan tokens are a powerful new primitive, but them being non-transferrable so far has limited their use cases. This new change would allow FTs to be used across DeFi, and perhaps in new protocols built specifically for FTs. Some possibilities: - Borrowing & lending markets (enables leverage on FTs) - FT index funds - FT LPing to augment bonding curve liquidity As a primarily Solidity / DeFi dev I'm super pumped about this and have lots of ideas. I love your enthusiasm bro, I also like the fact that they can be taken out beyond the "Moxie" protocol, I am not a developer, I can only be an infinite vehicle of content to get these out to the masses and outside of Farcaster, as I make life and presence in other web3 community and different networks. On the other hand, I am also excited about all the possibilities that exist, especially in DeFi, as I love this, being a liquidity provider, concentrated liquidity, speculating on a specific price range with FTs, this is great. Anything I can help with, I'm happy to help.
