Happy Friday. I've written many posts for Etherscan's blog as their guest writer. I'm going to reshare my past every few days. It will take me a few months to get through them. Here's one I enjoyed writing... the ledger has "latent" cultural potential; semiosis in wait for discovery, coordination. https://medium.com/etherscan-blog/latent-cultural-potential-caf1d1e3d42c

The confidential supervisory information discussed at the end of last week's roundup seems so strange to me... the extent to which it is codified seems almost shocking, am I wrong? Esp. for public entities -- members of the public are stakeholders and are not made privy to CSIs that have material relevance to their investments?

Recent post on Etherscan blog: Meet 'Rothko on Pennies', an innovative NFT project that stores an image on-chain across 1000 tiny contracts. But what happens when hackers get involved? Read the epic tale of vandalism, destruction, restoration https://medium.com/etherscan-blog/creating-destroying-and-restoring-on-chain-artwork-d6f1d031a2d5

The original advice from @gino still stands. You do believe in something. But the entailment is that from that belief, you should believe in infinite things, plus 1 special something that gets the recursion going.

I believe in this. But if I believe in advice encouraging belief in something else... should the advice be updated—to believe in two things? But then, if I believe *that*, then I believe the first advice & this second, so now it's three somethings. In the limit, ∴, we should believe in ∞+1 somethings.

Fashioned a little expressive project about the DAO... drawing from on-chain memory itself, implementing a renderer in contract as an "archival node of the first experiment machine." https://github.com/takenstheorem/perpetual/tree/main/01-archival-nodes

The history is fascinating. I was not about during this particular episode. I wonder how it all felt as it was happening...

NFT wash trading or NFT wholesaling? Hm. 👀 (Playing with L2 wash-trade patterns, and things get complicated when low fees allow larger volumes... washing or cyclic speculating?)
