@dwr.eth , could you elaborate on why or point to a resource? I get that people here in the comments say OKRs are a distraction from your primary goal — but that sounds like people are just choosing the wrong OKR…

Anyone else who has some thoughts on this, feel free to jump in.

Maybe give an example of OKR you think would be good and not be gamed and we can try to see if there are flaws. Idk if what you’re talking about exists but you never know!

This can be gamed. You'd have to spend so much time defining each one to so much minute detail that I question if it's worth the effort. If you don't need to because your team members just get it, then you don't need OKRs.

For example: 

Obejctive: Rank among top ten on Google search

Key Result: Increase organic website visitors from 100 to 500
