in recent years, tech leaders and VCs have become so arrogantly concerned with their own opinions they self-sabotage their own ventures. your opinions unrelated to the product you sell will reduce technological adoption much more than they ever will increase it. selling new technologies to normal people is already an uphill battle. don't shoot your customers with your stupid, extraneous opinions before they've even used your product.

My philosophy is this: you should only include certain tech in a product if: 1) your userbase explicitly requests it or 2) the problems of your userbase can only be uniquely solved by said tech Otherwise, just don't add it.
