in recent years, tech leaders and VCs have become so arrogantly concerned with their own opinions they self-sabotage their own ventures. your opinions unrelated to the product you sell will reduce technological adoption much more than they ever will increase it. selling new technologies to normal people is already an uphill battle. don't shoot your customers with your stupid, extraneous opinions before they've even used your product.

those who pull these stunts already know who they are and the customers they distract certainly already know who they are. the goal here is not to pick fights, which create even more distractions but to collectively call us back to focus on our top priority: tech adoption.
