Got the new RTX 4080 running in the PC last night. Spent the evening downloading Llama 3.1 and getting it running locally. It replies fast as hell to prompts! And of course gave it a test run on some GPU-hungry games.

Today I'm going to get ComfyUI and SDXL up and running, and make sure I can render in Blender without issues.

Philosophy

Took a crack at Wittgenstein decades ago, left a smoking crater where my mind was. Trying again, and damn, dude was straight up on some next level shit. It makes sense to me now how he sort of killed "Western" philosophy. He couldn't quite see it, but I think dude somehow created a path to bridge temporally biased reality with temporally irrelevant reality. His views, when combined, make sense across time and outside of it.

The more I use Replit/Cursor, the clearer it is that the floodgate of abundance that generative AI unleashes will need to be counteracted by cryptographic scarcity to preserve digital authenticity, provenance, and value.

I am unaware of an area of law with more bang for its buck for crypto apps than a website’s terms of service.  I know terms of service are not the most exciting thing in the world, but if done right, they can make a huge difference in legal liability exposure.
