Did Steve and Hanna not actually listen to the Daryl Cooper/Tucker podcast or did I completely miss something during it myself? At no point did I ever get the impression Daryl was offering some kind of precursor to saying Hitler should have won the war or that the Holocaust didn't happen?

Dick Cheney was able to invade Iraq and carpet bomb the entire Middle East as VP. If Kamala can’t take even one semi pro crypto action, she’s either too incompetent to be president or not actually pro crypto.

Yeah I mean everyone always has the opportunity to change their future behavior. But she has the power to do something pro crypto today and she isn’t. Why should we expect her to change if she remains in power for 4 more years?

Hasn't she already come out anti crypto? She's the VP of a very anti crypto admin.

Global crypto adoption seems inevitable, but bipartisan support doesn't. The dollar's status as world reserve currency is a major source of DC's power, benefiting coastal elites/Dems at the expense of manufacturing/MAGA. Since crypto is global, state-free money, embracing it also means relinquishing all that power. Why would they?

I also don’t think it’s true Trump wants to remove women’s rights. He has said multiple time that he has no interest in a national abortion ban and that he just wants to leave abortion laws to the states, which seems like a reasonable course of action for any divisive issues. Nevertheless, you don’t have to make crypto your #1 value.

Totally cool with people valuing things other than crypto. If something else matters more to you, that's great - vote for that thing. I just dont think we should expect the democrat party to change their stance on crypto. That's the part that seems illogical to me.

There’s a revolving door between government agencies and Democratic Party power centers, like big tech, mainstream media, and universities. Recent examples include the head of the NSA moving to OpenAI and Jen Psaki getting her own show on MSNBC. Before 2016 and Trump, the USA was basically a one-party system, with Ds and Rs agreeing on the key issues -- defense, trade, and immigration. Trump diverged from these positions, and many Bush-Cheney Republicans (ie the Rs from the one-party world) defected to the Democrat Party. Eg Frum and Wehner write for the Atlantic now.

Not suppressing it is essentially the same as supporting it at this point since it requires passing laws to undo the current suppression.

Their true policy stance is endless foreign wars and infinite money printing. Everything else is just a noise.

I'm confused by those who believe the DNC will support crypto. Where's the flaw in the below thinking? Assumption 1: Democrats and the US state have merged into one group. Assumption 2: Crypto explicitly challenges the dollar, the power core of this group. Conclusion: Since crypto threatens the Dems' global power, they will be the last to accept it—just like the Catholic Church resisted the printing press until defeat was inevitable.

FARCASTER LOGIN What is Farcaster good for? It’s good for devs. It’s good for data analysts. And it’s good for social login. The last is the thing I’m most interested in. When you start a new site you can use Google or Apple login. And that’s fine. But it just gives you an email. And maybe Google Drive access in Google’s case. You can also use X/Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn. But those APIs change so quickly and adversarially that you can’t really build features on your site that rely on them. So you end up using them similarly to Google login, where you get a username only. Now arrives Farcaster. The first fairly large scale decentralized crypto social protocol. Where people aren’t in it solely for the money. Now, for all users who log in with Farcaster, suddenly you can provide encrypted messaging between accounts and pull their full social context. And if they’ve connected a wallet and ENS, they have a balance and can spend and receive money in your app. This changes everything.

What do replies and twitter bios have to do with the actual videos? If the videos are real, i don't care where they came from or who's talking about them? All I'm thinking about is how do we stop innocent people from getting beaten by mobs of men while walking down the street?
