I'm confused by those who believe the DNC will support crypto. Where's the flaw in the below thinking? Assumption 1: Democrats and the US state have merged into one group. Assumption 2: Crypto explicitly challenges the dollar, the power core of this group. Conclusion: Since crypto threatens the Dems' global power, they will be the last to accept itβjust like the Catholic Church resisted the printing press until defeat was inevitable.

Crypto support under both parties is inevitable. The devil will be in the details. The ETF approvals are the final straw. Thereβs too much institutional money invested to go back

Global crypto adoption seems inevitable, but bipartisan support doesn't. The dollar's status as world reserve currency is a major source of DC's power, benefiting coastal elites/Dems at the expense of manufacturing/MAGA. Since crypto is global, state-free money, embracing it also means relinquishing all that power. Why would they?
