Does anyone have a good explanation on why Solana is more centralized than Ethereum? I can't tell if that's true, or just a meme (like how Bitcoin is more decentralized than Ethereum)

It’s predominantly VC allocated. Kinda defeats the purpose of a blockchain IMO.

@phimarhal post has this linked as well https://www.helius.dev/blog/solana-foundation-delegation-program-sfdp I would also love a tldr about how staking works on Solana - I am gnosis validator , I know they are very big on home validators and also having diverse validator clients Countries and geographies represented - maybe @armagan could shed some light on it?

Not a meme, but also not black and white. Solana optimizes for performance, which requires more powerful machines. That tends to concentrate who can run a validator. Ethereum prioritizes accessibility and diversity of participation
