my mom and I don't like turkey, so after a few years, we switched to prime rib 😂 and when I was in high school, we'd invite family friends over for potluck, which meant we also got Chinese pork belly and musubi. i'll admit though: once I moved to the south, I became a firm believer in mac&cheese at thanksgiving

The only good turkey we've ever had is the years it's been fried and even then it's still only slightly above average. Prime rib sounds to die for though. Also, that sounds fun! I'd rather everyone bring their favorite non traditional dish and really celebrate what we love. So funny because I thought my family was just weird for not having Mac n cheese until I realized it's a southern thing. But i totally agree
