only upside is that maybe it will make more of us aware of "values" (like openness to exchanging value) that we had begun to take for granted. I still dont get the sense that many actual americans are caring about this direction... makes me confident it will not last. my guess is it gets revoked to give economy time to recover before midterm elections (eg, by late 2025, early 2026)
