Another thing he mentioned is that he thinks Farcaster's development is less open than Bluesky. IIRC ATP doesn't have any other clients and repositories other than Bluesky. Devs can only participate in Bluesky via taggers and list providers.

I do feel that the development of Bluesky is more transparent and addresses the shortcomings of centralised social more head-on The biggest client is fully open source, you can build and choose your own algos, and it has a big emphasis on crowdsourced/modular moderation
