Not against it but I’d rather use USDC or something, I pay for a few things with crypto and it’s always too many steps to buy/convert if I don’t have that coin handy

Yes. I have bought many meals with Bitcoin. It was invented as a peer to peer form of digital cash first, before becoming a store of value for many. Why wouldn’t you pay for a pizza with digital cash?
