Last year at work an employee turned in a grocery receipt for reimbursement. It had every recall of a product that person had bought in 2024 listed at the bottom, there were around a dozen. The food system seems broken in the US, maybe that's what this is about. But it sometimes seems like this administration actually wants it all to crash and burn, not just the deep state or what have you.
