Can certainly see a new IP featuring a BYO adventurer concept. With a layer for configurable attributes. D&D style or being yourself in a rad story is plenty marketable.

Link? Over Nintendo’s dead body and I can’t say I’m against Nintendo on this one. As a standalone game that is. In terms of exploring Hyrule as other characters I think that would very cool.

There’s a bunch of web3 gaming startups that are working on different ways to bring composability to gaming assets. Some are pushing for unified standards designs and others create sort of translation modules that adapt a design to different game design styles, e.g. sandbox vs Halo

Really? I know very little of gaming tech but imagine setting up for one custom asset (admittedly the most sophisticated one) would be easier to integrate than building to allow a whole raft of custom items.

probably a lot. customization sure but to have a truly replaceable hero probably requires same of the world they’re in
