There’s a bunch of web3 gaming startups that are working on different ways to bring composability to gaming assets. Some are pushing for unified standards designs and others create sort of translation modules that adapt a design to different game design styles, e.g. sandbox vs Halo

I think tech wise we’re probably there but it might me more or of a mindset change. Check out RSTLSS they’re building this for skins/wearables and work with a platform that does it for avatars. 

Also some on chain games like etherorcs already did it. They used other NFTs as playable characters

I’ve seen this sort of stuff crop up a bunch and it sounds exciting. 

Any info released to know how near to functional tech we are?

Is it reasonable to expect a web2 title to say ‘all your avatars in x file format can be imported for gameplay’?
