Approached by Amazon today offering their shipping service for us at FILA. Is my concern for businesses giving them the deliveries insight en masse warranted?

They do. There are examples of that specially in new trends - that they copy it for amazon brands. Would to it for all standard items, but leave the special collections where you want custom packaging etc in the own hands. Therefore they know the data for things that is anyway common.

the consumer convenience of a marketplace monopoly is difficult to resist, but a multinational marketplace monopoly really is unprecedented. Brings to mind the whole “techno-feudal” narrative: https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/techno-feudalism-replacing-market-capitalism-by-yanis-varoufakis-2021-06

Unless specifically excluded in contract/TOS, No doubt they marry the databases to theirs to mine customer data. I am interested to know if that means you have to also list a brand store on the Amazon site. I have seen more and more of these.

Perfect. Say yes in return for all their shipping employees wearing comfy and trendy FILA shoes. Win win?
