Gonna be in Seoul from 9/19 - 10/1, looking for recs! It's my wife's first time back since she was a child, so trying to plan some special things 👀

From September 11th to October 6th, three grand palaces in Seoul will have special nighttime openings. During this period, guided tours in English are also available, so I highly recommend checking them out. I visit every year during the nighttime opening season, and the palaces look even more enchanting and beautiful at night.

If it's been a while since your last visit to Korea and you're looking to do some sightseeing, I highly recommend the Gwanghwamun Plaza night tour! It’s an excellent way to enjoy Seoul’s nightscape, especially with the guided tour available in English for foreign visitors. You'll have the chance to experience the city's beautiful lights and learn about Seoul’s history and culture. The tour is conducted twice daily, at 6 PM and 7 PM, and takes about an hour.

Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to "northern village," came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno 👍

How about the National Museum of Korea in Seoul? It's hot outside, so I recommend learning about history in the cool indoor environment

Get lost around the city! I recommend taking a walk in Gangnam and getting some coffee and shopping done in Starfield CODEX.

When you come to Seoul, you'll definitely visit the Han River, so make sure to try the ramen there as well. It's very popular among tourists these days, and almost every Korean loves it too. You can easily find related videos on YouTube to get a preview!
