It's my wife's first time back since she was a child, so trying to plan some special things 👀

Countryside grilling in the heart of Seoul city tonight 

Already our 4th time going to 홍돈 this trip. 단골집 for smoked meat bbq going on 10 years. Simply the best

I hit up 양지식당 near 동대문 for lunch today. Husband and wife owned and operated for 35 years. Side dishes that accompany the insanely tasty 제육볶음 (spicy pork) are prepared daily and change regularly. All local ingredients.

Grand total: ₩16,000 or $11.50 for TWO people. And of course no tipping

@slokh Sorta depends where in Seoul you’re staying but hitting up a nice walk along 남산 공원 or Mt
 Nam Park in the middle of northern Seoul will give you amazing views of the city
