Occasionally, my friends and family ask me how many years I have been buying comic books.
I had a rough idea, but the other day, I was at the library and stumbled upon the Image anthology celebrating 30 years of the amazing work of Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Will Portacio, Marc Silvestri, and others.
In 1992, these creators fed up with how Marvel and DC treated them, especially in royalties, decided to break away and start something new and incredible. It was then, at the age of 12, that I bought the first issues of Spawn, Wild C.A.T.S, Savage Dragon, and more, and I've been collecting comic books for over 30 years now. 🤯
