Tbf I'd say at least 10% of people I partied with in college were buying stuff off the Silk Road in 2012 with bitcoin and every single one of them didn't think to keep their wallet. We never thought of bitcoin as a store of value. It was just a weird drug currency

I faded it back then cos I only had like a grand to do anything with and seemed like it would not yield much return looool, how wrong I was. I did nothing after that until my gf saw bitcoin was on netflix in 2017. couldn't ignore, never left haha
