Had no idea that Blast has native yield. Where does this come from, mainnet yield? The DAO you describe in the last paragraph is exactly how I am setting up /blackflag - people put USDC in a /pool-together pool which auto generates yield from AAVE and stakers can take out principal but not yield.

it's nice but native yield also introduces more risk for the user to bear (sc risk, financial, regulatory) altho if you're on blast, you prob don't care about any of that to begin with

Yes to all of this. I’ve been thinking a lot about it to as I think about how to make L2s free to use. One could do native bridge yields and subsidize gas fees 100%.

Blast native yield is the most under appreciated L2 net new use case that benefits users and builders for participating in growing a chain. It is a real argument against the L2 eth vampire narrative.
