Power user feedback might be counterintuitively less valuable? You have shown that you will use the product anyways, so the thing you are suggesting can't be that huge of a lever. Compare that to a new user who wants to use the app but is struggling to retain - their pain points might offer more valuable insights.

Yea true - i guess my statement might be more about their feedback about what *isnt* working. If a power user says X thing is bad, it’s true that it might be bad but it can’t be so bad that it makes them churn (because they’re a power user)

Tbh it’s not that bad if they’re telling you. It’s really bad when power users churn en masse and don’t tell you

the more common scenario is you have to choose whol youre building for, and you should likely choose the power user (and their needs/wants) a lot of things will be bad/broken — better to focus on what works and find more ppl who cares for that thing
