What I like about it — I don't consider myself an artist, but I've been playing around with different AI generators for the past 2 years just out of curiosity — and there are a lot of tools that can be used for low-price or even free to produce high-quality result (but only if you have the idea in your head of what you wanna get out of it). The best part of it, just like with chatgpt, you don't need to dig into technical details, you just use human language, try different ideas and iterate, iterate, iterate until you get what you want. And as mentioned in the comments - it's possible to train AI based on your own existing art, or develop your own style with the help of these tools.

Tbh I think its currently overindexed on artists that prompt their way to a piece and underindexed on people influencing AI with a small sample of their own art to generate more of it with slight twists to it that AI brings

OGs in that scene really f*ck with bgans and the distinct style to the generations
