Technical analysis is nonsense for stocks because they are valued for the most part on fundamentals by sophisticated participants and institutions. It actually does hold some merit for memecoins because they are fully psychological/social assets, for the most part its only retail trading them, and thus the charts can actually tell a meaningful story

technical analysis puts you in the same place as fundamentals the fundamentalists/“sophisticated”are the same people who didn’t buy nvda because it was trading at 70x multiple in 2018 most money managers are schmucks besides like jim simmons types all things in this universe abide certain laws and geometry is one of them; stocks etc are not above this
