My husband was telling me about the controversy in Call of Duty where since it's cross platform you have both PC and console gamers playing together. Console gamers get aim assist to level the playing field but it's been a huge advantage (top players right now use console) so PC gamers aren't happy. Super interesting!

another spin on this is some games (I think Halo Infinite?) can do matchmaking based on what type of input device you use i.e. if you use a controller on PC, you can get pooled with controller players on game consoles; or if you use KB/M on consoles, you get pooled with other KB/M folks on PC

It doesnโt really change the issue with AA though Controller players on PC can map their controllers to do moves only PC players can do naturally like Tap Strafing and itโs not a good time playing against that lol ๐ So now you got AA + superior movement ๐ญ๐ญ
