Yes I do. How I see it: Personal trainer is to your body as Therapist / Coach is to your mind If you get help to take care of your body, why wouldn’t you get help to take care of your mind?

How does it work? Everything I know about therapists is from TV and I don't know how close to reality that is

The typical depiction is standard talk therapy - it’s very helpful when you find a good therapist (there are some v good and some not so good ones). Other modalities are somatic therapy, family systems therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychedelics therapy…it depends what feels good to you

A lot of people discount therapy *because* they associate it with chatting about their sh*t once a week to a person with a notepad. I 💯 thought that 15 years ago & did hypsnosis instead haha but it’s a blend you create with what resonates & feels good to you - the aim is always the same: become who you really are
