Curious: what does he think about communism?

weird, I'm constantly told by Americans that communism is good just hasn't been done right. Yet, anyone I ask who has lived through it seems to not like it. I'm sure they are wrong, though.

Older generations of Romanians romanticize communist times. . . Everyone had jobs. Poland is going through big economic growth, romania in contrast not so much. Romania privatized industry haphazardly. . . Not sure if the result is as extreme as the oligarchs in Russia who took advantage of privatization

Older generations in Taiwan seem supportive of the CCP as well. Interesting generational divides.

In the US it’s mostly young college age liberals in coastal elite cities who support communist ideas
