hey @matthewb and @kenny, i'm happy to discuss how this is not a ponzi - we're trying to build the fairest way to speculate ever.
a ponzi has early users taking advantage of later users. with megapot, anyone can be a player, the house, or build an app.
i hate most memecoins, which are an uneven playing field where retail gets fleeced. here, the edge is mathematically constant and anyone can have the edge, not possible anywhere else.
a ponzi is about promised utility with no actual profits. megapot's utility is similar to one of the most popular activities in the world: a billion people played the lottery last year
crypto in general is full of scams, casinos take a large margin, and scratchers take even larger margins. you donāt have to condone gambling to want to improve it. itās a noble goal to reduce consumer prices. that's why we're building this.
if you're saying that this is speculation, and you'd like less speculation in crypto, that's totally fine! but calling it a ponzi is unfair 3 replies
