My favorite aspect of the internet has always been the process of going from nothing to something.

it’s like rebuilding a video game character / identity from scratch. It’s saying “the old me has evolved”, and this new me reflects those changes. You are not defined by the past, but rather how your past has shaped your present

Point is:
We all live parallel lives. Whether it’s your video game friends, business partners, family: We all act differently among different people. 

And people should be free to do that.
