Great observation And global left is fragmenting into local too Maybe global connectedness = sign of ascendant power? Or is it a sign of weaknes since it’s a solidarity thing 🤔

perhaps End of History related? Liberal Democracy is the default and has very strong popular support. There's little coherent to organize around there now where global right has something specific to react against.

Global left still has neoliberalism and post-Reagan/Thatcher capitalism left to fight against, no? I agree that anti-capitalism is mostly a US left phenomenon right now but why hasn’t this coalesced across the West?
