Great observation And global left is fragmenting into local too Maybe global connectedness = sign of ascendant power? Or is it a sign of weaknes since it’s a solidarity thing 🤔

perhaps End of History related? Liberal Democracy is the default and has very strong popular support. There's little coherent to organize around there now where global right has something specific to react against.

the global left is too bloodthirsty for infighting and killing its own darlings: descending/decentralizing into local left the local right is into far more coordination and power consolidation/solidarity games: ascending/centralizing into global right
